Is the "some sensuality" in "Twilight" too much?

My mom wanted to watch it with me. I don’t know if it goes too far. Of course, some classic Hollywood kisses actually went too far. I don’t think I saw it in

A lot of Twilight fans thought it was too little. I thought it was fine; the sensuality wasn’t my primary target to search for. :ehh: I thought the movie was pretty good at best.

Ironically Yours, Blade and Blood

I was actually impressed with the restraint shown in the movie.

I watched it last week with my teenage daughter. Other than a few longing looks and maybe a kiss or two, it was really tame.

Great! then it’s “Twilight” for us this Good Friday! LOl

Seriously, thanks!

You’re going to watch a science fiction movie about vampires on Good Friday?..

My thoughts exactly!

Jesus suffered and died for us today, go to the Good Friday Service or at least watch the Passion!!

Sancta Maria, Mater Dei, Ora Pro Nobis Peccatoribus!

My sentiments exactly, especially given how badly-written Twilight was (though I’m told the movie is better than the book).

That’s nothing. I’m going to watch “Milk” in a few minutes. That isn’t sarcasm either. I got it for my birthday a week ago.

Ironically Yours.

I was joking, hence “LOL”! I’m watching “300”. If I get questioned about that, I’ll have to digitally reach out and whack the back of someone’s head.

Heck, Blade, I’m actually impressed. As agnostic as you are, I’d have thought you’d be watching a porno! (Just joshing)

No way. :dts: From what I’ve heard, the storylines in pornos are more than awful. When I watch a movie, it should be something thought-provoking, not mindlessly arousing… then again, I don’t like sex scenes very much, which is why I fast-forward. That goes for all movies I’ve ever watched that were rated R.

Ironically Yours.

My uncle told me a story about how once, when he was at a bachelor party, they put a pornographic film in the VCR, and the film caused in him such revulsion that he became physically ill. Turning away from the film, the other beasts asked him what was wrong, to which he replied, “The writing!”

They all laughed.

I’m not much at all impressed by any level of so called restraint in the books, I can’t speak for the film. Quite simply, I think you are all just greatful they we’re having sex from cover to cover, and waited until they were “married”.

There’s more to Lust than physical contact!
