Is there anything wrong with devotion to the Agnus Dei?

There’s nothing wrong with devotion to Christ under the title and
image of The Lamb of God, is there?

I ask because, though the Agnus Dei has proven a popular subject in Catholic art, there seem to be virtually no devotions connected to it. The closest I can find are the old wax
Agnus Dei sacramentals–long since discontinued–and a relatively new
religious order (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Community_of_the_Lamb).

Am I missing something? Why is there so little in the way of devotions
to the Agnus Dei?

Hi,

Agnes Dei or Lamb of God are only terms that are used to refer to Jesus. Names are only important to the extent that they indentify a person. Devote yourself to Jesus. If you have identified Him, then you have already identified Him in every name that applies to Him.
