Is This a Good Bible Study Program?

:hmmm: Our diocese is offering the Denver Catholic Biblical Studies program. It is a four year program. I just paid the tuition and bought materials, thinking that if it was being offered at three seperate parishes in the diocese, it must be good. I am hoping it is, one person I spoke to said they thought it might be a liberal interpretation. The course outline does indicate that the study is based on history and tradition and is not necessarily based on a literal interpreatation of the Bible. Does anyone know of this program, am I spending my time/$ wisely???

I am not familiar with the materials, but anything endorsed by Bishop Chaput and directed by Tim Gray will probably be worth your while. Let us know how it goes.

I agree with Fidelis. If it comes out of Denver it is going to be true to the Catholic Church. Same for anything from Tim Gray. Enjoy your studies!

I’ve only heard good things about it, but I haven’t been able to find anything directly. If you use it, be sure and let us know about it.
