Isis flag flies at Vatican in propaganda

Meanwhile, even as – as some people claim – there are within the Church those who wish to bring her down. There are – as is patently clear to anyone with a brain – there are outside the Church those who wish to bring her down.

Rather, chop off her head.

I saw this at *Tempi**(Italian HERE):

La bandiera nera sventola sull’Obelisco di San Pietro: la rivista dello Stato islamico festeggia la “crociata fallita”

The black flag waves over the Obelisk of St. Peter: the magazine of the Islamic State celebrates the “failed crusade”

The “crociata” in this case refers to the present loose coalition doing stuff – sort of – to bits and pieces of ISIS, Islamic State, whatever the evil movement of militant Islam is called right now.

Didn’t the leader of this movement say something about going to Rome?

Yes, I remember that correctly. HERE

Rome will be conquered next, says leader of ‘Islamic State’
Muslims have been called to flock to the ‘Islamic State’ to gather for a battle against non-believers throughout the world

Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, the self-proclaimed leader of the ‘Islamic State’ stretching across Iraq and Syria, has vowed to lead the conquest of Rome as he called on Muslims to immigrate to his new land to fight under its banner around the globe.
Baghdadi, who holds a PhD in Islamic studies, said Muslims were being targetted and killed from China to Indonesia. Speaking as the first Caliph, or commander of the Islamic faithful since the dissolution of the Ottoman empire, he called on Muslims to rally to his pan-Islamic state.

“Those who can immigrate to the Islamic State should immigrate, as immigration to the house of Islam is a duty,” he said in an audio recording released on a website used by the group formerly known as the Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham.
“Rush O Muslims to your state. It is your state. Syria is not for Syrians and Iraq is not for Iraqis. The land is for the Muslims, all Muslims.

Is this really really really haaaaard for people to grasp?

Sts. Nunilo and Alodia, pray for us! *(Feast 22 October)

Islamic State (Isis) has published a photo of its black flag superimposed on the obelisk in St Peter’s square in the latest edition of its online propaganda magazine, ‘Dabiq’

The Photoshopped picture appears on the front cover of the fourth edition of the magazine accompanied by the headline ‘The Failed Crusade’, a reference to the US-led alliance’s latest attacks against the organization, Corriere della Sera reported on Monday.

The magazine contains an article about the fight against “Rome” and “the Romans”, terminology used to refer more widely to the West.

Haha nope. Time for another crusade.

I find news like this - two ways - more probably not true at all.
Possibly true but slanted in the way the reporter wrote it. The author of the article interjecting his beliefs and opinions. But they are not supposed to do it! So, I prefer to take all news with a grain of salt…

I truely (SP?) question this, LOL! It sounds more like ISIS propaganda. This “organization” for lack of a better word, apparently is very well funded!

#5

Um, yes it is…where were you for the past 5 months?

#6

What Isis has seen the light of the Catholic Church and now they are all begging at the Vatican Door for Pope Francis to come out and baptize them, it would certainly put an end to all this nonsense they are going with it, and brutality. I only wish and pray it was true.

We have to pray for them as Ignorance is like driving with your eyes closed.

#7

It’s just an intimidation tactic. Don’t let it worry you. Did you forget that the Swiss Guard are armed to the teeth?

#8

They dont carry around grenades and macine guns but they have them!

#9

An MP5 could easily be concealed in one of those baggy uniforms :onpatrol:

#10

I don’t see the difference from historic Mohammed and Islam up through Constantinople and through today. In a word Isis mimics Mohammed and very closely in fact and in fact consider everyone else heretics.

Be it propanda, its certainly historically consistent.

Now ISIS boasts about invading the Vatican: Propaganda magazine says terrorists will ‘conquer’ Rome and 'break your crosses’

**Islamic State jihadis today issued a clear threat to the heart of Christianity, as they published an image of their black flag flying above the Vatican.

In a picture on the cover of their official magazine showing a mock-up of Caliphate-controlled Rome, the militants’ flag is superimposed on the obelisk in St Peter’s Square.

It is the front cover of the fourth edition of the ISIS online propaganda magazine Dabiq, which calls in its latest issue * for a war against the Catholic Church***…

The article in Dabiq - named after a town in northern Syria where in 1516 the Ottomans defeated the Mamluks, establishing the last Islamic caliphate - also urged faithful Muslims to attack and kill ‘every Crusader possible’.

It added that ‘it is lawful to kidnap the women of the infidels and use them as sex slaves’.

Well, one thing is for sure -ISIS is not joking about reigniting slavery… But if they had it their way, they wouldn’t be enslaving the clergy -just the women and the little girls that they capture… Then they’d molest them as it’s always been.

cnn.com/2014/10/12/world/meast/isis-justification-slavery/index.html

“One should remember that enslaving the families of the kuffar – the infidels – and taking their women as concubines is a firmly established aspect of the Shariah, or Islamic law,” the group says in an online magazine published Sunday.

The title of the article sums up the ISIS point of view: “The revival (of) slavery before the Hour,” referring to Judgment Day."

Right and beheadings come from the teachings of the Moors in Spain, the Quran and Mohammed. Which is reenacted here…

google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=4&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0CCkQFjAD&url=https%3A%2F%2Fmenzikulati.wordpress.com%2F2014%2F10%2F13%2Fhorror-of-kobani-headless-corpses-left-in-the-street-and-victims-with-their-eyes-cut-out-the-savagery-of-isis-laid-bare-october-13-2014%2F&ei=wQ89VI6aJYqe8gGuyYHADw&usg=AFQjCNGSx3VQLTQPj4U3bVK0nP1yR7J5Gw&sig2=E9-hRWOTv8-LWj6TfN2skA&bvm=bv.77161500,d.b2U

According to those who escaped, the jihadis’ savagery is more hideous than anyone feared.
Headless corpses litter the streets of the besieged Syrian border town, they say, and some of the mainly Kurdish townsfolk have had their eyes gouged out.

St Teresa was seven, and made a plan to run away to Africa, where she might be beheaded by the Moors thus martyrdom is documented in her writing is consistent with the Isis agenda.

They want to follow everything as per Islamic teaching. Because Islam still sits and is firmly anchored in the 7th century medieval period with reluctance to move ahead.

Any fatwas from Muslim authorities branding beheadings as “unIslamic” are dismissed out of hand by al-Zarqawi and his ilk. Western scholars and commentators can argue till they’re blue in the face that beheading is “unIslamic,” but that doesn’t deter the Islamists one bit. And looking at the Qur’an and the arc of Islamic history, who can say the Islamists are wrong?

google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=8&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0CE4QFjAH&url=http%3A%2F%2Fhistorynewsnetwork.org%2Farticle%2F12071&ei=9BI9VK-SIaaM8QHA0IHgDw&usg=AFQjCNF5MCOGJehGWYKa_9fr3zirRoowfA&sig2=p6OrbBZ8j0lltHHkZLanaA

They are following Mohammed and his teachings as far as they are concerned.[Isis and others]

…Check out the picture in the OP -the bottom right box says: The Revival of Slavery…

…purely disgusting. The CNN link has a video that tells the stories of escaped victims of Islamic slavery.

#15

Thanks for posting the links… I didn’t realize they were beheading so many Kurds in Kobani. It’s sad.

#16

Right they confirm the teaching as western freedom and democracy separates the carnal and spiritual of politcal-social-religion, Islam doesn’t do this. No separation of carnal-spiritual.

A caliphate (in Arabic: خلافة‎ khilāfa, meaning “succession”) is an Islamic state led by a supreme religious and political leader known as a caliph – i.e. “successor” – to Muhammad.

Thus the teachings fast fowarded to today. They are considered “concubines” . Slavery preceded Islam but became part of the Islamic wars from Mohammed forward. If its discouraged or not remains debatable in various areas.

ibtimes.co.uk/isis-magazine-dabiq-threatens-rome-crusaders-flying-islamic-state-flag-vatican-front-cover-1469712

Read the part of the article in english.

“We will conquer your Rome, break your crosses, and enslave your women, by the permission of Allah, the Exalted,” Al-Adnani said. “If we do not reach that time, then our children and grandchildren will reach it, and they will sell your sons as slaves at the slave market.”

Looks like they are in for the long haul.

#18

Exactly my thought and it has been for years, they are only following there leader Mohammed in all his violent ways and thoughts. No Shalom in his book.

I would love to send Isis back a message with the flag on the Obelisk " What are you coming to Rome to become a Christian and get baptised, well since you have put up your flag I take it that is what it means, yes we will baptise you so you can start anew with Confession first and amendment of your life, so you can face Allah when you die with a clean heart and spirit.

#19

SO…

Does man-made global warming have a propaganda video with its flag flying over the Vatican and/or the White House?

Because the Pentagon seems to think that’s a threat. :stuck_out_tongue:

#20

And dont forget those darn tea party extremists…
