Islam and womens clothing

#1

I had a thought.

It was that if the way a woman dresses means that she should expect harassment or even rape…then if a Muslim man wears Islamic style clothing and gets harassed at the airport or anywhere in the west then he cannot complain. After all he dressed that way and so he was asking for it. If he didn’t want to be bothered then he should cut off the beard and wear a suit.

If you put it in those terms I think the absurdity of blaming women for rape becomes more clear. It opens the way to justifying discriminating against Islamic men for how they dress.
