ISO text of the Council of Rome

Anyone know of a link to the full text of the Council of Rome (AD 382)?

I’m not sure it’s still around. I searched EWTN’s library of Church Councils (it’s the pull-down menu), and I couldn’t find it. I tried to search the www.vatican.va website, but I’m not very good at searching there.

Perhaps someone else will be of more help.

God Bless,

As far as I know, there is no Council of Rome in 382 AD. There was a Council at Constantinople at that time though: newadvent.org/fathers/3809.htm and newadvent.org/cathen/04311a.htm

Hmm, that’s interesting. Specifically I’m looking for the earliest local council or synod that promulgated the canonical list that was dogmatically defined by the Council of Trent. The Council of Hippo I’ve found (I think), but I’'ve seen references to a Council of Rome that had the same list as Trent.

I’d like to be able to quote an appropriate council.

RyanL, I also find the Vatican’s site to not be the most user-friendly. Thanks.
