Jesus' take on David vs. Goliath

Had Jesus been present when David was deciding to confront Goliath, what would Jesus have instructed David to do?

Note: this is similar to another thread I have going, so apologies for the overlap.

So as I am not Jesus how can I make any comments of what HE would or would not have said, done?

Sorry but I see no point in engaging on what…3000 years old quarterbacking.
And by the way GOD did tell David when HE was please/displease with him, so as we now know that Jesus was there present also HE was also agreeing or disagreeing with David’s actions. Your question therefore is moot, don’t you think?

Agreed. Thank you for your reply. I think I need to rephrase the question - better articulated.
