Jill Stein and supporters officially file petition for election recount in Pennsylvania

Jill Stein and supporters officially file petition for election recount in Pennsylvania cnn.it/2fXsMy6

According to the following article:

Stein’s lawsuit would have to present evidence that election fraud was probable in Pennsylvania. Democratic Secretary of State Pedro Cortes says there’s no evidence of voting irregularities during the Nov. 8 election

“Absolutely not,” Cortes told reporters. “There is no evidence whatsoever that points to any type of irregularity in any way, shape or form."

Unless evidence is presented in Pennsylvania, there is not going to be a recount.

So what is the plan here?
Trump still is elected, Hillary still loses.

CARL CAMERON: Michigan is a fairly simple one compared to what happens in Pennsylvania, and there is less effort in Michigan than there is in Pennsylvania because of how difficult it is there.

Recounts could go forward in both, but in Pennsylvania it is particularly difficult. They’ve got to find three voters from each of Pennsylvania’s 9,100 voting precincts, so about 30,000 people who have to have voted. They have to download an affidavit off the web, fill it out, then sign it in the presence of a notary and have it stamped. Then they have to take it to their county clerk’s office and have it certified. And different counties have different deadlines – in fact, the Jill Stein campaign has said that some of the deadlines might already have passed in a few of the precincts. They’re basically pushing an all or nothing thing in the next three days. It is a very steep hill. The kind of thing that Donald Trump might suggest is a rigged election a few weeks ago.

Three reasons as I see it:
*]Jill Stein collects money that she will use for future campaigns. (yea it is a big fundraiser)
*]Jill Stein gets tons of free press.
*]There is a somewhat small chance that enough electors will be tied up in recounts to bring Trump’s total to less than 270 which pushes the election into the House. Trump still wins but the Left can say he is illegitimate (especially with the popular vote going to Hillary.) Makes him a possible Lame Duck for 4 years and opens up a path for the Democrats to win the presidency again in 4 years as the ‘rightful’ party to hold power.
If this is pulled off, all future US elections will be a joke, as any candidate can demand a recount without any standing, any possibility to win, or any proof of fraudulent activities.

It could be used as an argument to get rid of the Electoral College, which probably would mean most of the future presidential elections will be won by Democrats.

Oh My! Will this madness never end???

Pennsylvania State Department says Stein missed recount deadline

Stein missed Pennsylvania’s deadline to file for a voter-initiated recount. That blown deadline is a huge blow for Democrats who have pinned their hopes on recounts in the Keystone State, Michigan and Wisconsin.

And, well, I thought Stein was the Green Party candidate, not a Democrat? Guess you can’t tell the players without a program.

Hard to keep track when the Green Party hires the former head of the state democratic party to represent them and has democratic canvasers as the ones saying only hand counts would be rigorous enough.

Many of the recount arguments are silly and just show how unhinged some people have gotten. I think the phrase is “grasping at straws”.

Stein is trying to present the electorial system as a broken system (which it isn’t because the electorial college is genious.)

She, and other socialists, are trying to eliminate the electorial college. They know that the urban areas and other states that vote blue or that are moving “blue” are the areas in the country that are growing. So they are hoping that if they can eliminate the Electorial College, then CA and the Urban areas can run the country.

The power of the presidency derives from the constitution.
I do not see how an opinion can alter it.

You make an incredibly important point. As any election map will show, for the reason you mentioned, absent the Electoral College, the two coasts would run the country, and everything in between would literally become “fly-over country.”

This is very sad and ridiculous.

How low will they go? !

Yep. It is all about the power! What the rest of the country wants doesn’t matter.

The democrats got to Jill Stein. I wonder what she was promised - what kind of deal
did she make?

She’s cut from the same cloth. The Green Party is simply a party that is publicly more to the left than the DNC.

Not even really the coasts… Literally, just CA and the cities. Even Suffolk Country, on Long Island voted for Trump.

Except for New England & New Jersey, the so called “Blue States” are really just “Blue Cities.” Even in NY State, most of the counties voted Republican.

And to be completely honest, the only reason why the country map of CA is so blue is because they have some masive (size wise) counties that include urban areas.
