Any recommendation of reading material about Scotus and the incarnation on the web, or a book? How about a comparisons between Aquinas and Scotus? Something that is not a complicated read, if possible.

Also, did Scotus see a vision or have an apparition of the Blessed Mother?

Journeyman,

I really don’t think you’re going to find anything simple about Scotus. And if you do it’s certain to be seriously misleading. Scotus was not called the “Subtle Doctor” for nothing. If you want simplicity you should stick to Aquinas:D

Richard Cross wrote a good, brief summary of Scotus’s thought called Duns Scotus. I’d say that’s probably about as simple and easy as you’re going to get.
