Kardashian pastor to have his own reality TV show

Pastor Rich Wilkerson, Jr. is “not your typical pastor,” according to People Magazine. “I come from a different perspective,” the 31 year-old Florida native said. “I don’t think that people are interested in a bunch of religion, like telling me what I can and can’t do, but I think that people are interested in having a relationship with God.”

Wilkerson and his wife, DawnCheré, will have an opportunity to talk about their “different” perspective on faith in an upcoming TV show, Rich in Faith. The young, hip pastor who married Kanye West and Kim Kardashian last year, has made a career of pastoring some of the biggest celebrities in America, including the Kardashian family and Justin Bieber. Wilkerson’s brand of Christianity is steeped in what’s cool now, from his sermons based on popular songs to his undercut to his wardrobe. It’s a carefully curated presence.

I am confused, slightly.

Kim is Armenian Orthodox and recently had her baby Baptised into the Armenian Orthodox Church.

I’m not sure why she is famous.

Her baby is quite cute though, irrespective of her name.

She may have been born orthodox, but there is NO way any of them believe in the Deposit of Faith.

Also, her husband comes from a evangelical background. I think his uncle is a pastor. My sister is friends with his cousin in Delaware and met him at a church event. If I remember correctly, Kim stayed in the hotel.

If you want to have a relationship with God and show him love, you must obey His commands. He said so Himself. Whether it is hip or cool or not, it is important to know and obey the commands. A good pastor would instruct his flock on what to do.

If you want to be popular, you might do anything but preach the truth.

Frankly, I care more what God thinks of me and my work then if I am popular.

I am not easily impressed by people who are celebrities. Some are famous for silly or
shameful reasons. Others are brilliant or talented. God gave them that ability. I give them
credit for developing and working their talent but they can’t take credit for their talent.

I wonder what vapid, vacuous message he has to offer?
