Living the liturgical calendar in the family

This may seem odd (maybe I’m one of the rare Catholics who doesn’t know this text) but I just wanted to share this resource with others. Though I had read several books by Maria von Trapp, I only came upon this one (Around the Year with the Trapp Family) last year. And EWTN provides it online for free! It’s a really neat look into old customs related to living the liturgical calendar and even if you find it weird or exacting or too detailed, I think it can motivate families to think about the customs and traditions they want to share all year long. It did in mine, anyway. So for what it’s worth…

Thank you for sharing!

What a wonderful resource! Thank you for posting! I didn’t know Maria von Trapp was Catholic.
