#1

A high school student in my area had a heart attack and is in critical condition. Pray for him.

"For me prayer is a surge of the heart, it is a simple look towards Heaven,
it is a cry of recognition and of love, embracing both trial and joy."

    *. . . for thy beloved child and his family . . . ***

Our Father, Who art in heaven,
Hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
+ Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven. +
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil. Amen.
- Jesus

The Memorare
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary,
that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection,
implored thy help or sought thy intercession was left unaided.
Inspired with this confidence, I fly unto thee,
O Virgin of virgins, my Mother.
To thee do I come, before thee I kneel, sinful and sorrowful.
O Mother of the Word Incarnate,
despise not my petitions,
but in thy mercy
hear and answer them. Amen.
- St. Bernard of Clairvaux

Thank you all for praying, but please keep praying. I do not know the condition of this student. The latest information I have heard was a garbled message on the school intercom about a Mass being held for him.

Things seem to be looking up. He had a leg amputated to save his life and has been taken off the heart-lung machine and is apparently in excellent condition. This is what I have heard.
