Looking for a specific book

So I remember hearing about this book many times but I can’t for the life of me remember its title or the author’s name. Maybe you all can help me.

From what I remember, its written by a fairly famous convert to Catholicism. Someone along the lines of Scott Hahn or Steve Ray. Its a book of either a letter or a series of letters this person wrote to his father about his conversion. I thought it had “letters” in the title, but I just can’t figure out what it is.

My boyfriend and I are hoping to give it to his parents for Christmas. Can anyone help?

At least two popular contemporay conversion to Catholicism books started this way:

Crossing The Tiber, by Steve Ray
Born Fundamentalist, Born Again Catholic, by David Currie

Both are published by Ignatius Press and both are excellent.

Letters from a Skeptic by Gregory A. Boyd

Maybe this is what you were thinking of.
