Taken from the New St. Joseph Sunday Missal.OF

I could not find the 2009 Liturgical year for the 1962 Missal, maybe someone else still has theirs.

According to the 2009 Liturgical Calendar for the Dioceses of the United States November 15, 2009 was the 33rd Sunday in Ordinary Time. The 1st Reading for Year B is Daniel 12:1-3. I believe that is what you are looking for.

Incidentally, Daniel 12:1-3 is also one of the options for the 1st Reading for the Mass of the Dead. adtelevavi.110mb.com/RomanRiteOF.htm#Daniel

Nov 8, 2009 was the 23rd Sunday after Pentecost. And Nov 15, 2009 was the 24th Sunday after Pentecost with the Readings being those of the Resumed 6th Sunday after Epiphany. None of the Readings for these 2 Sundays mention St. Michael.

I cut off part of my reply above. The Gospel Reading for November 15, 2009, the 33rd Sunday in Ordinary Time Year B is Mark 13:24-32. It mentions stars.

Looks like you want November 15

24 "But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, 25 and the stars will be falling from heaven, and the powers in the heavens will be shaken. 26* And then they will see the Son of man coming in clouds with great power and glory. 27 And then he will send out the angels, and gather his elect from the four winds, from the ends of the earth to the ends of heaven. 28 "From the fig tree learn its lesson: as soon as its branch becomes tender and puts forth its leaves, you know that summer is near. 29 So also, when you see these things taking place, you know that he is near, at the very gates. 30* Truly, I say to you, this generation will not pass away before all these things take place. 31* Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away. 32* "But of that day or that hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father

Mark 13:24-32

1* "At that time shall arise Michael, the great prince who has charge of your people. And there shall be a time of trouble, such as never has been since there was a nation till that time; but at that time your people shall be delivered, every one whose name shall be found written in the book. 2* And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. 3* And those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the firmament; and those who turn many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever.

Daniel 12:1-3

Thanks for taking the time to get this information. It was the readings for Nov 15th I had been looking for.
