Mallius maleficarum

How can it be right for Innocent viii, not to mention that guy after him, Alexander vi. Well I won’t mention him but how could Innocent viii go for that text that a priest was supposed to have written in the 15th century “Hammer against witches”? He believed I guess that it was accurate. They killed many. It might have been the secular laws that killed. But there’s bloody hands here with this pope. He didn’t help but promoted. I hope this is the right forum for Church History.

I don’t know who would argue that this was right. Read historian Ludwig von Pastor’s take on this bull here, from pages 347-350:
