Man re-arrested for auto theft in jail’s parking lot moments after being released
Dumb: Commit attempted car theft.
Dumber: Commit attempted car theft on the jail’s property.
A drunken Donald Gartner, 48, was arrested by Pasco County Sheriff’s deputies for causing a disturbance at his neighbor’s house, reports the St. Petersburg Times.
The Port Richey man, who 'fessed up to drinking six brewskis and taking six Oxycodone pills, was then released from the cooler just a few hours later.
But he couldn’t stay out of trouble: Gartner was rearrested after he tried to break into two cars — in the visitor parking lot at the jail, according to deputies.
You’ll want to know why his neighbor called the cops on him…not pretty.
