Margaret Mary Alacoque Visions

#1

I heard this saint had visions of Jesus and the sacred heart. Are there writings about it?

She did write her autobiography but apparently not much is said about her visions.

I couldn’t find much online, about the actual dialogue between Our Lord and St. Margaret Mary; but I did find a link to purchase a book about her life.

I’m sure the book goes into the actual dialogues. Sorry I couldn’t be of more help. God bless.

Yes I know of this book, I read a review on it on amazon and a person states that there really isn’t anything on the saint’s visions with Jesus. I’ve read it about her having visions, but it’s hard to find any dialogue.

*Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with Thee. Blessed art Thou among women and blessed is the fruit of Thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen. *

Come Holy Spirit, come by means of the powerful intercession of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, your dearly beloved spouse. There are works of hers: her autobiography, Vie par elle-meme, the Fragments found in her collected works in VIe et ouevres de sainte Marguerite-Marie Alacoque. Her letters, especially the letters to S. Felice-Madeleine de La Barge penned during the last several years of her life. “Letters of Saint Marguerite-Marie” I have not cited the article where I read about these works.

I would also read Devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus It came about because a few days after the great apparition to St. Margaret Mary Alacoque on June 1675, St. Margaret Mary Alacoque made all known to Father de la Colombiere and he consecrated himself to the Sacred Heart, directed the holy Visitandine to write an account of the apparition, then discreetly circulated the devotion through France and England. At his death was found in his own handwritng her account plus reflections on the devotion. Father Croiset a Jesuit then espoused the cause of devotion and did much for it. Here is the biographical information: newadvent.org/cathen/07163a.htm

Note: I have not yet read Abandoment to Divine Providence, but it was written by her confessor, and devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary is a fundamental means of Devotion ot the Sacred Heart of Jesus. To the best of my knowledge, from the first site that I read which listed to three works of hers, St. Margaret Mary Aloque first devoted herself to the Immaculate Heart of Mary during an illness long before the Devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

Excerpt from Vie par elle-meme by St. Margaret Mary Aloque, to whom was revealed the Devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, "The blessed virgin has always taken great care of me. I had recourse to her in all my necessities and she has preserved me from great dangers. I did not dare address myself to her divine son, but only to her and I often presented her with the little crown of the rosary, which I said on my bare knees, or genuflecting and kissing the ground at every Ave Maria.
