Marie Stopes suspends some abortion services amid safety concerns

#1

Marie Stopes International (MSI) has suspended surgical abortions for girls under 18 and vulnerable women after safety concerns were raised by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

A number of other services offered have also been halted to make sure patients are protected from potential harm when undergoing pregnancy terminations.

“Safe” abortions? Is that someone’s idea of a sick joke?

In prayer last night I was reminded of the story of David and Goliath. Goliath, that huge, fearsome seemingly invincible giant defeated by a mere boy wielding nothing more sophisticated than a slingshot.

In our day many evils are like Goliath. They seem massive, powerful and intimidating. Yet in truth it is mostly all show. Because they are built on lies and lack truth they are in fact enormously weak. Evil practices such as abortion and those who profit from performing them, like Goliath, have an Achilles heel, a weak point. This is what we can and must target to defeat such evil.

One of our weapons, a major one is prayer. It makes a huge difference. It makes ALL the difference. Each of our prayers may be little in itself but like David’s stone fired from a simple slingshot, it can have a huge impact. Abortion providers have a number of obvious vulnerabilities as we can see from the news reports. These could be exploited. Lawsuits against them for things such as medical negligence, injury, trauma etc. Would put these “clinics” on the back foot, cost them money to defend lawsuits, cost valuable time and energy and other resources which if nothing else they could not use to kill even more babies.

If women who have suffered at the hands of abortionists could be supported to bring claims then that could be a massive step in helping to turn the tide, counter the prevailing narrative and expose the truth. Perhaps the courts may begin to award hefty sums in damages to those living with trauma suffered at the hands of the abortionists. Hit the abortionists in the pocket and expose their callousness and lies.

In the meantime, pray, pray, pray!!!

God bless.

Many find themselves in a position where it is simply not possible to protest and pray in front of the abortion mill.

But most parishes have a pro-life Rosary available.
And that many can do.

Pray.

I find myself somewhat confused.

Check this out except and full article at link below:

This news has massive implications, not that one would realise it from the reaction of the mainstream media, not least because it exposes as a myth the pro-choice mantra that abortion needs to be legal in order to be safe.

The CQC have said that the 250 women who had been booked in for an abortion at Marie Stopes this week will be sent elsewhere in order to protect them from ‘potential harm’. If that’s not damning then I don’t know what is. If this was happening in any other area of health care, where 98 per cent of clients were directly referred from and paid for by the NHS, the media would rightly be demanding answers. According to Marie Stopes’s most recent accounts from 2014, their UK income amounted to £37 million, the majority of which came from the provision of 70,000 abortions. All that money - and yet the safety of all those thousands of women can not be guaranteed.

You could check out following article which analyses what has happened. Here is an except:
