may crowning

Just out of curiosity, can you crown a garden Mary statue in your yard, or is that not proper.

There is no reason why you should not do so if you wish.
The flowers in your garden are God’s gift also.
May God bless you.

We crown the statue of our Blessed Mother in the kitchen. It’s the love behind the act, not the public or private nature of it, that truly matters.

It’s a very beautiful thing to bring these traditions into our homes, to keep our faith ever before us

God bless you – and I hope you do have a lovely May crowning at your home!

Gertie

I don’t see an issue with it especially in light of how the Franciscan Crown rosary is said to have come about.
