Metanias/Prostrations in the Ruthenian Church

When are metanias made during Divine Liturgy in the Ruthenian Church? What about full prostrations?

Also, should a metania always be made when venerating an icon?

American practice seems to be at the Words of Institution for the metanoia, and only on prescribed days for the prostration.

I’ve never heard of it for an icon.

Used to serving at american ruthennian, I served at a Melkite mission liturgy. Accustomed to preparing incense after the words of institution for use after the epiclesis, I found myself in a full prostration with a smoldering censer in my hand for the epiclesis ! :scream::roll_eyes:
