music ministers

Let’s all pray for those who are in charge of the music for the liturgy. May they be given guidance and inspiration for the truly sacred.

Ave Maria, gratia plena, Dominus tecum. Benedicta tu in mulieribus, et benedictus fructus ventris tui, Iesus. Sancta Maria, Mater Dei, ora pro nobis peccatoribus, nunc, et in hora mortis nostrae. Amen.

Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with Thee.
Blessed art Thou among women,
and Blessed is the Fruit
of Thy Womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death.

Saint Cecilia, pray for us

Yes, may they gather us in, and sing a new song so we can be one bread one body.

Almighty Father, inspire the music ministry in our churches… Lead them to music that highlights the sanctity of the mass… May they discover and compose music that will inspire your people to participate fully in the liturgy… Amen.

Our Father, which art in Heaven
Hollowed be thy name
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done
On earth as it is in Heaven

Give us this day, our daily bread
And forgive us our trespasses
As we forgive those who trespass against us

Lead us not into temptation
But deliver us from evil

Oh, my Jesus
Forgive us our sins
Save us from the fires of hell
And lead all souls to Heaven
Especially those in most need of thy mercy

Hail Mary, full of grace
The Lord is with thee
Blessed art thou amongst women
And blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus

Holy Mary, Mother of God
Pray for us sinners
Now and at the hour of our deaths

Glory be to The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit
As it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be
World without end

Could you also pray for a friend of mine named Michelle, who was invited to play piano for the Masses at our college chapel, but she has terrible stage fright, and needs help from the Holy Spirit to overcome it. She is very talented, and would be a blessing to the music ministry at the chapel.

St. Cecilia, pray for us.
