Must Blessed Sacrament Be Present for Convalidation?

I recently had my marriage convalidated, though I noticed that the tabernacle was empty (the door was wide open) while the convalidation took place. Was my marriage actually convalidated?

Thank you!

The essence of the sacrament of marriage is the exchange of vows. The Eucharist does not need to be present.
