My brother has lost four close friends

Please keep my brother in your prayers. He lost a close friend of his to cancer less than a year ago. About a month ago another good friend of his died of cancer. Two weeks ago another good friend of his had a sudden heart attack and died and then just last week that friend’s wife died of a brain anarism.

Thank you.

I pray for your brother and his losses–it is difficult to lose people you love, and almost the same time at that. May the Lord give him strength and comfort as he goes through life.

God, you don’t put more on us than we can stand. Please help this man to find the strength to deal with the loss of his 4 friends.

May he feel the loving arms of the only One that never dies nor leave us, surrounding him and bestowing upon him all His tenderness and grace.

Sweet Merciful Jesus, though you knew of your death which was to come for us, it gave you no pause in loving others freely and fully throughout your time on earth.

Remember your tears in mourning for Lazarus, (John 11:35),
remember your tears in love for Jerusalem (Matthew 23:37), and remember your tears from Your Passion for us (Hebrews 5:7).

We ask that you protect the faith of those who mourn from ever doubting your goodness and mercy.

Almighty Father, while He walked among us, your Son promised to His followers, “Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted” (Matthew 5:4). Now we beseech you to send the Comforter to descend upon Stylteralmaldo’s brother and the families of each of those who have gone on to their reward. Hold them to You, and bless their tears with the knowledge that their sorrow will one day be turned into joy when we are united with You in Heaven.

We ask this through Christ our Lord, Amen.

May all souls cling to the Lord.

I pray for his grief. If I could I would send his grief to help the souls in Purgatory.

God Bless!
