My Dad's Funeral is Today

#1

For the most part, I am a lurker on these forums, however, today I am asking for prayers.

After 82 years of a wonerful life, we will be celebrating my Dad's life today at his funeral. Although sad, I know he is now with my Mom, which comforts me.

I did my Mom's eulogy and will be doing my Dad's in a few hours. I was very emotional doing my Mom's and know I will be the same when I do my Dad's. Please pray for me that I may remain strong and do my Dad justice when I talk about his life.

Thank you and God Bless.

Our Father, which art in Heaven
Hollowed be thy name
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done
On earth as it is in Heaven

Give us this day, our daily bread
And forgive us our trespasses
As we forgive those who trespass against us

Lead us not into temptation
But deliver us from evil

Amen
