My daughter made a vocabulary mistake...😳

Friday evening I had a bit of a headache. My daughter came up to me and said, “Mommy, let me give you a euthanizing back rub.”

:flushed: “what do yo want to do to me?!”

“Give you a back rub to make you feel younger!”

“You mean rejuvenating?”

“Yes, that’s it!”

“Thank goodness!”

Reminds me when my (now 36 YO) 10 years old daughter asked me, “What is it called when they burn bodies instead of burying them; marinating?”…LOL, now she is an English teacher!

My daughter was watching TV with us (she’s in her 20’s!) and there was a commercial for catheters.
She asked me, “How many people get so many bee stings they need a CASE of those???”
What?

CATHETERS, not EPI PENS!!!

Egad.
Her sister said:
Imagine Veronica at the beach…some guy gets stung by a bee:
Veron: QUICK! SOMEONE GET HIM A CATHETER!

Awkward. :flushed::scream::crazy_face:

Good one! My favorite kidspeak was the five year old behind me at midnight mass who happily sang the Christmas Carol, “While shepherds washed their socks at night.”
Children should definitely be seen AND heard. They provide so much laughter and wisdom, if we just take time to listen.

I overhears a child praying the Fatima prayer after a decade of the rosary

"and especially those who mostly need thy mercy"
