My friend's mother

#1

Darla has been in my life now for more than three years. Over this time, we have become quite close. She has many health problems and is taking several medications. She has been in and out of the hospital for nearly two decades. Her most recent diagnosis involves an illness in which her body essentially attacks its own liver. She has not had a transplant; this is the liver she was born with. I’m not certain on the name of the disease, as she didn’t tell me. After my research, I found autoimmune hepatitis. If this is indeed what she has, it is potentially very serious. Since she has so many health problems, it will be harder for her to respond to treatment. I don’t imagine she will survive this, but if she does, it’s likely she won’t live much longer anyway. She is a protestant who believes in the once saved, always saved bit. She’s not been living right, and I worry about her. Please pray that she will find true salvation before she goes. I can’t stand the thought of her leaving decades of suffering to endure even more. Thank you.

Hail Mary,
full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the Fruit Of Thy Womb,
Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death.
Amen

Heavenly Father we place her in Your care.

Our Father, Who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy Will be done, on earth, as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
Forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now,
and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit,
as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be world without end. Amen

Peace be with you,

May God bring your friend safely back to health,
and pray for my parents, my parent too, they still not in Faith yet.

Lord, grant Darla the special grace of conversion. May her heart be touched by the Holy Spirit and be moved to be reconciled to Your Son, Jesus and his commandment to love You with all her mind, heart and soul and to love her neighbor as herself. Please help her prepare for her death, to embrace love and truth entirely in Your Son, Jesus. St. Joseph and Blessed Mary, pray for Darla; intercede for her salvation and help secure her a place in heaven. Amen.

I believe in God, the Father Almighty,
Creator of heaven and earth; and in Jesus
Christ, His only Son, our Lord: Who was
conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the
Virgin Mary; suffered under Pontius
Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried.
He descended into hell; the third day He
rose again from the dead; He ascended
into heaven, is seated at the right hand of
God the Father Almighty; from thence He
shall come to judge the living and the
dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the
Holy Catholic Church, the communion of
Saints, the forgiveness of sins, the
resurrection of the body, and life
everlasting. Amen.
