:gopray2: Listen to your Pastor. I’m sure that he has good solid reasons for this decision. To suggest that he is wrong or that he is throwing out your previous religious education is rather mean-spirited toward him. While I applaud your desire to become Catholic, I disagree with posting negative comments about your Pastor’s decision. Whining is for wimps.
I, too, am a convert. I took religious education 1on1 with my pastor. In his wisdom, he didn’t allow me to be received at the Easter Vigil. He decided I wasn’t ready and chose to receive me on the Solemnity of Saints Peter and Paul-June 29th. And you know what? He was right! I didn’t argue with him or question his decision. I accepted it in profound gratitude. I suggest you do the same- the Lord will grant you profound peace and joy if you do.
