Need an Annulment if divorced then ex-spouse dies?

Hello,
I have a friend is Catholic and married another Catholic. After a number of years, they got divorced. My friend did not remarry. This past year, her ex-spouse died. Does she still need to get an annulment if she wishes to remarry?
Thanks!

No she does not. Marriage is until “death does us part.” Once a spouse has died, the marriage bond no longer exists.
