Need your prayers.

I am in a state of mortal sin and I can’t get to confession becuase my parents won’t let me convert until I’m 18. (Just a year!!) I confess my sins to God and ask for forgivness and then I fall into the same mortal sins. I would appreciate if you would pray for me and ask God and the blessed mother to give me the strength to resist temptations and to avoid the near occasion of sin. I want to be in a state of grace and I truly want to avoid sinning. I have been struggling with this sin for years and the only way I can stop is with the help of God and Mary.
Thanks Guys!

God knows your situation and its difficulties.
Be mindful that mortal sin requires full consent and full awareness.
A formed bad habit does mean there is not always full consent. However we must sincerely make every effort to overcome sinful habits. Prayer is required but also genuine efforts to escape and distract oneself in practical ways from temptation.

1857 For a sin to be mortal, three conditions must together be met: "Mortal sin is sin whose object is grave matter and which is also committed with full knowledge and deliberate consent."131

1859 Mortal sin requires full knowledge and complete consent. It presupposes knowledge of the sinful character of the act, of its opposition to God’s law. It also implies a consent sufficiently deliberate to be a personal choice."

“2342 Self-mastery is a long and exacting work. One can never consider it acquired once and for all. It presupposes renewed effort at all stages of life.129 The effort required can be more intense in certain periods, such as when the personality is being formed during childhood and adolescence”.

3 O’Clock Prayer

You expired JESUS, but the source of life gushed forth for souls, and the ocean of mercy opened up for the whole world.
O Fount of life, unfathomable Divine Mercy, envelope the whole world and empty yourself out upon us.
O Blood and Water which gushed forth from the Heart of JESUS, as a fountain of Mercy for us, we trust in You.

The Lord knows your situation. And he knows you can’t go to confession. Keep praying.

:signofcross:

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.
