Nephew suicidal/surgery

Still praying hard.

Our Father, Who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come, Thy Will be done, on earth as it as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day, our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive
those who trespass against us. Lead us not into temptation, but
deliver us from evil.
Amen

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with Thee.
Blessed art Thou among women,and
blessed is the fruit of Thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us now, and
at the hour of our death.
Amen

Glory be to the Father, to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning, as is and ever shall be, world without end.

Update

Hi everyone,
Thanks for your prayers. The surgery went well. My nephew is in a lot of pain though and his pain pills are not working that well, but he seems to be in good spirits. He loved his Christmas gifts the rest of the family got him. My husband is a minister to the sick and we took him Holy Communion on Christmas Day and he was happy for that. I told him to ask Jesus to heal his nose and his heart. He closed his heart. I think your prayers are working. He is helping another man, a homeless man whose house burned down and this is helping him see that his life is not so bad and the suicidal thoughts are leaving his thoughts. He told him on Christmas Day that he text messages this man Bible verses and other inspirational verses and this helps him not lose hope. This man lost everything in the fire and than he lost his girlfriend and her daughter who were taken in by her mother but would not take him in because he is hispanic. She hates hispanic. In fact when she found out her daugther was pregnant with “that thing” she wanted to pay for an abortion but her daughter would not do it and this man is happy for that. He did get a house for he was sleeping in a tent on this woman’s property, but she would call the police on him too without her daughter knowing. He did keep his part time job and has Social Security disability, but two days before Christmas was laid off. He doesn’t know now if he can make the rent of the house. He is searching for part time work again. My nephew is helping with collecting food, clothing and furniture for him and so am I and this helps him forget about himself. This is good for him to see that others have it worse than him.

So thank you for praying for him. Keep praying for him and if you want to pray for his friend who lost everything, his name is Angel.

A Novena Prayer to the Sacred Heart of Jesus
Sacred Heart of Jesus, we know that there is but one thing impossible to You: to be without pity for those who are in suffering or distress. Look down on us, we beg of You and grant us the grace which we humbly and earnestly implore, through the Immaculate Heart of Your most sorrowful Mother to whom You confided us as her children, and whose prayers are all powerful with You. Amen.

Divine Mercy
Eternal God,
in whom mercy is endless
and the treasury of compassion

  • inexhaustible,
    look kindly upon us
and increase Your mercy in us,
    that in difficult moments
    we might not despair
    nor become despondent,
    but with great confidence
submit ourselves to Your holy will,
which is Love and Mercy itself.

Amen
