NFP Romance During fertile time

Sorry honey but marriage is all about give and take - and if you want it to work you'll have to meet in the middle. You (and him) put off marriage for 6 years, did you think he would be ready over night to have a baby!

So take comfort that your married to a red blood male - who wants to have sex and more importantly have sex with you! My husband was all about NFP until he realized it meant no sex in our marriage. Then we decided that condoms would work better for us. It would allow us to have sex when it fits into our schedule or when we are in the mood. If we do get pregnant then we will accept the addition to our family (we are awear our actions may result in a child) but at least we are being proactive insteading of removing sex from our marriage and resenting each other because our needs are not being met.

This is a good point. You have to go slowly with it and ease him into the idea.

Sure, we were given free will to make our own choices and it's up to you in the end, but the Church is still against the use of a physical barrier in sex. There's many, MANY other threads about NFP vs. contraception that you may have to read up on to form your own opinion.
