Nicene creed

What does this mean, when was the first time Jesus ascended into Heaven?

“He suffered, and the third day he rose again, ascended into heaven;”

Thank you,

Jesus descended into hell and then on the third day he rose again from the dead.

Fr. Mitch Pacwa and Scott Hahn responded to this question a few nights ago:

“My toddler fell down on the rug, but got up again.” The “again” doesn’t mean he fell twice, it’s how the expression is used.

Yeah, it’s a figure of speech. It is not necessary to make it try to walk on all fours.

Translation of Resurrexit can be rose (as in Easter) but they decided to make it rose again. A true again would be iterum, such as Christ will come again.

Thanks for the replies, now It makes sense.
