Novena For the Poor Souls in Purgatory

The Church has dedicated the month of November to the Holy Souls in Purgatory.

Who will join me in saying a nine day novena, written by St. Alphonsus Liguori, for these Holy Souls?

The Novena, which only takes 3 minutes to say, can be found here.

Thank you.

God Bless

Steve I hope you are well.

Happy to join you in the novena.
Warm regards, Trishie

Thanks for the invite to pray, Steve!

Great to see you back. Will be sure to participate.

(Doing Day 1 now …)

Day 1 Done!

*Would love to join in! I have a question though, may be silly, but can you do more than one Novena at a time?
(I’m already doing a different one for a special cause.)
Any answers, I would appreciate. Thanks!
God Bless,
Angel Face

Day two is done.

At Mass this morning Father said "we do not call the souls in purgatory “poor” " :tsktsk: the souls that are poor are the ones that are in hell.:frowning:

The phrase he used was “dear souls”.

I thought it was considering they’re on there way to heaven.

Day 1 done and thank you! Espeically praying for the beloved souls of priests and religious departed…

Just did day one!!
