Oath of Secrecy, or Confidentiality Before Entering the Conclave?

Are Cardinals able to make themselves available to the public before entering the conclave, without breaking their vow of secrecy?

Interesting… on yesterday’s “Conversation With Cardinal Dolan”, it sounded as though even though there was a blackout with the media, that he could continue to do his updates. He acknowledged that he wouldn’t be able to talk about anything of substance. He has also been doing a daily update. Will be interesting to see how this shakes out today.
