Obama Will Renominate Two Abortion Advocates for Judgeships

Washington, DC – With Senate Republicans blocking their nominations because of their pro-abortion views and other issues, two nominees for federal judgeships were never approved. With another session of Congress starting shortly, President Barack Obama will reportedly renominate Louis Butler Jr. and Edward Chen


I expect that Obama will fill the Federal judiciary with pro-abortion judges at every possible opportunity.

A lifetime appointment of a pro-abortion judge can have an impact that lasts for decades.

I think it’s ridiculous to expect that Obama would only nominate candidates for federal judgeships who are pro-life. At any rate, judges are expected to rule in view of Supreme Court precedents – Roe v. Wade and subsequent decisions – that consistently uphold abortion rights, whether they are pro-life or pro-choice.
