One in seven pregnant women could die in Ebola-hit countries, say charities

One in seven women could die in childbirth in Ebola-infected countries because of overwhelmed health services and the fear and stigma that surrounds the disease.

The UN Population Fund estimates that as many as 800,000 women could die in the next year in Sierra Leone, Liberia and Guinea.
