One Mass

I have often heard it said that there is one continuous Mass in Heaven. …and, our Liturgies on earth are “an echo” of what is occurring continually in Heaven. What is this claim based on ?

Catholic Theology holds that Holy Mass is the unbloodied re-presenting of the sacrafice of Calvary (cf Sacrosanctum Concilium 47; Lk22:19; 22nd session of the Council of Trent; the encyclical Mediator Dei, and the third part of the great Summa Theologiae of St Thomas to mention but a few examples where this is mentioned) it is not an echo but a re-presenting of, a joining with, the one eternal sacrifice of Christ.
