One-time spiritual direction - what do I do?

Someone invited me to go with them on a weekend retreat in a couple of weeks, and a session of spiritual direction is available for anyone who attends. I feel like I need this type of help, but what do people talk about (and how do they talk about it - I have very limited self-disclosure) for just one session?

I am about a third of the way through Dan Burke’s “Navigating the Interior Life” so I will try to finish it before the retreat. Any other ideas?

Spiritual direction is a time to talk through with a priest or other advisor any issues you may have in your spiritual life. It is especially useful in the discernment process of your vocations or other major life decisions, and in redirecting your general spiritual development.
