In recent weeks, Donald Trump has elevated the case of American Pastor Saeed Abedini, a U.S. citizen imprisoned in Iran because of his Christian faith. Trump has tweeted about Pastor Saeed’s case and the need for the U.S. government to do more to free Pastor Saeed.

I believe he was freed from prison along with three others but they have not yet been released from Iranian custody.

Glad to see pastor Saeed Abedin is free. And that Donald Trump weighed in on the issue.

He was not the first to call for his being set free though.

Of course this might be a bit of a conflict for Santorum in that the Iran sanctions he did so much to place on that terror exporting nation in the early '90s - were lifted as part of the deal.

Giving Iran $1 billion plus dollars and " … a prisoner swap involving seven Iranians held by the United States on sanctions charges …" , was ANOTHER part. :mad:
