Oh, Tommy Aquino is your man for sure!!! He was known as the Dumb Ox, because he was big and didn’t have much to say. He proved everybody wrong. SOOOO- If you prove everybody wrong by being a reverted Catholic, then you have something not quite in common, but enough.
If you’re looking for bad then good (almost too good), who was also scholarly, then you have to with St. Augustine. He sent his poor mother, St. Monica, crying and begging for his conversion for decades. He joined a cult, had a mistress and possibly a child out of wedlock, and learned from his father how to treat women- badly. Monica’s prayers converted them both, father and son.
Frequently, in Intro Philosophy classes, Tommy and Auggie are contrasted and compared. I use this comparison for one of my husband’s classes to check scheduling. I know Tommy and Auggie Night is the fourth week of the 8-week class. That means nothing to you, but it’s just a “go ta show ya”.
[quote=ImperialPhoenix]I am not sure if the word youth is applied to children under 18 or anyone below a certan age.
Let’s put it this way: World Youth Day is for folks under 35 (yes, that’s thirty-five).
