Washington, DC – With an FDA committee giving the new abortion drug ella its approval, a pro-life student group is sponsoring a new petition asking the Obama administration to not allow it to be sold. The drug is billed as a more effective morning after pill, but it causes abortions at the earliest stages of human life.

We pro-lifers should petition, but we should be realistic too. There is no chance that Mr. Obama is going to entertain our desires to protect the unborn. His political life has been heavily based on pro-abortion positions. If you remember during the campaign, he often spoke of his desire that an abortion rights law be the first thing he signed.
