Pilate's Palace


Traditionally Pilate’s palace is thought to be the Antonia Fortress, but it is most likely Herod the Great’s palace in the west of the city.


What they call Herod’s Palace today probably was not Herod’s palace at all, but a later construction after the fall of Jerusalem.
