Please pray for an almost blind painter who needs eye surgery

A dear friend of mine, 72 years old, a wonderful painter who is almost blind, needs eye surgery badly, but is very much afraid of it. I will go with him to see a doctor today. Please pray that he agrees to the operation and recovers his physycal sight and above all his spiritual sight (he is a Catholic and a very good man, but he drifted away from Church in his youth and is not really interested in coming back).

Thank you all,

I will pray to St. Lucy (patron of eyes healing) for healing your friend’s eyes.

And also here is the Novena prayer to Saint Lucy for healing of eyes that I would like to share with you.

**O God, our Father, mercifully hear our prayer as we venerate Your servant, Saint Lucy, for the light You gave her. Shed Your light in our souls, O Lord, that we may be able to avoid evil, do good, and hate nothing so much as the blindness and darkness of evil and sin.

Relying on Your goodness, O God, we humbly ask You through the intercession of Saint Lucy, to strengthen our eyesight and protect us from any loss of vision. May our eyes serve for Your greater honor and glory and the salvation of all, that we may come to enjoy together the unfailing light of the Lamb of God in Paradise.

O Saint Lucy, Virgin and Martyr, hear our prayer and obtain our petitions. Amen.**

God bless!

May your friend’s eyesight be restored through the intercession of St. Lucy and St. Raphael, and may he be spiritually inspired with his artist’s soul to see the Beauty of the Lord.

In prayer,
