Merciful Jesus, during Your life on earth You showed great concern for the sick and the infirm. Have compassion now on Brian who is undergoing a cardioversion on June 10. Grant him a healing of mind and body and restore his strength and spirit.
Comfort him with the knowledge that we are praying for him and his family, and give them peace with a sense of Your presence. May they know that in a special way they are united with You, their suffering Christ. May they contribute to the welfare of the Whole People of God by associating themselves freely with Your passion and death for the salvation of the world. Bless, too, those who take care of the sick. In their own time of need, bestow on them a hundredfold the blessings they have given to others. Amen
Please take the soul and spirit of Brian’s son into the sweetest corner of Your mind, the most tender place in Your heart, that he might be comforted. I pray dear God for this family to have the strength to remember he has not gone far. For he is with You and shall remain so forever. The cord that binds us one to the other cannot be cut, surely not by death because we are all bound to You Lord. For You, dear God, have brought us together and we remain in eternal connection. There is no power greater than You. Death is not Your master, nor Brian’s son or his family’s. Help Brian and his family to belive and register in their heart these things. May they surrender to You their grief. May they surrender to You their pain. Please take care of Your servant, Brian’s son, who has passed. And please, dear Lord, take care of Brian and his family and friends.
