Dear Lord, help Kevin be well. He just switched medications and is concerned about panic attacks. May he not have to go through any of those any more. Be his rock, his refuge, his hope and make him blessed. Should he ever suffer, may he cling on to you ever so tightly amid his suffering. May he try and get to visit you at eucharistic adoration and talk with you about his fears of anxiety, etc. and find comfort in your healing and transforming presence. May Kevin always have good souls in his life to make him happy - but mostly, may he find happiness in you and in doing your will. Should he have to go through serious suffering, may he always bear it patiently with love for you - uniting his sufferings to your Son, Jesus’ sufferings and offering it up for the conversion of souls. That way his suffering will not be in vain, but will bring much fruit. Kevin wants to be happy, Lord. Make him truly happy. May he find in the core of his being you there, always ready and waiting to grow in relationship with Kevin. May he look into himself to find you there always, so he doesn’t have to look too far and lose hope amid trials. May he keep faithful to your commands and worthily receive the sacraments so he may die a saint, if he isn’t one already. May he have a special relationship to you in the Blessed Sacrament and receive the best of graces at communion. Amen.

Hi Kevin

I am so sorry you have been suffering anxiety/panic attacks.It is awful just THE most awful thing at the time…i have suffered them.For the last 5 yrs though i have been much better.I drink plenty of water,avoid caffeine, additives,preservatives especially in fizzy drinks and used “alternative thinking” eg try to concentrate on reading a book to take my mind off things.CBT several times getting as much information as possible helps too.I use a decongestant inhaler for hayfever and i always have a fan on in my bedroom to keep it cool which helps me enormously…hope some of this may help you

I will pray for you and remember you in my prayers
Dear Lord
please heal Kevin of this condition guide him on how to heal from this.Grant him Your comfort and love O Lord through Jesus Christ Amen

God bless

Other refuge have I none;
Hangs my helpless soul on Thee:
Leave, ah! leave me not alone,
Still support and comfort me.
All my trust on Thee is stayed,
All my help from Thee I bring;
Cover my defenseless head
With the shadow of Thy wing! Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come,
Thy will be done, on earth, as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread;
Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us.
Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit,
as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.

Loving God,

We pray for your unconditional love to be known and to strengthen Kevin in his time of transition and need. Please have mercy on him and heal him or help him to deal with the situation in the most effective manner to reduce his anxiety and to maintain peace in his life. Please grant him courage, strong faith, and hope in You, dear Lord. We offer the following passages from St. Paul on behalf of Kevin:

Philippians 4:4-7

Rejoice in the Lord always. I shall say it again: rejoice!
Your kindness should be known to all. The Lord is near.
Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition,
with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God.
Then the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will
guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

Amen.
