Please pray for me to go to confession today

#1

I need to go to confession because of some mortal sins and questions I have. Please pray so that I have the courage to go and not put it off for longer than I have because in a sense I just want to get it over with so I can be at peace again.

Be not afraid. Prayers for you!

St Damien of Moloki, you gave us the profound example of courage when the Bishop was not allowed to disembark from his ship to hear your confession. You rowed a small boat out into the sea and shouted your confession to the Bishop in earshot of everyone on the ship and on the shore.

I ask you to pray for Joanna that she may have the courage to go to confession.

In the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, Amen.

Loving. God, please guide and inspire Joanna with Your Holy Spirit as she prepares for the Sacrament of Penance and receives its graces today.
Lead her to peace and to grace.

I went and confessed! But I was still left with answers as the priest could not answer all my questions and I’m still troubled :frowning: but he did tell me to make an appointment

Continued prayers for peace in your heart and for clarity regarding unanswered questions you may have.

Hail Mary,
Full of grace,
The Lord is with Thee.
Blessed art Thou amongst women, and
blessed is the fruit of Thy womb,
Jesus
Holy Mary
Mother of God,
Pray for us sinners,
Now and at the hour of death,
Amen

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.

Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

Amen.
