I feel kind of whiney asking for prayer, but I'm really having a hard time with my break-up right now. Some of you may remember the situation with my fiance, but I'm back at school now and my roommate is planning her wedding for May. I'm boxing up wedding stuff and listening to the excited wedding talk, and I'm having to come against jealousy and bitterness, and anger, and all sorts of other awful things that I know are wrong. :) So in short, prayer for healing of my heart, and a pure and humble spirit through all of this would be sincerely coveted. Thanks to everyone.
Praying for you Kassie …
full of grace,
the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death.
Considered yourself prayed for.
Breaking up is hard to do, but don't worry, God has got something MUCH better waiting for you!
God bless you!
Here’s a prayer by Charles de Foucauld:
I abandon myself into your hands;
do with me what you will.
Whatever you may do, I thank you:
I am ready for all, I accept all.
Let only your will be done in me,
and in all your creatures -
I wish no more than this, O Lord.
Into your hands I commend my soul:
I offer it to you with all the love of my heart,
for I love you, Lord, and so need to give myself,
to surrender myself into your hands without reserve,
and with boundless confidence,
for you are my Father.
Also, a book that you may find comfort in is How To Survive the Loss of a Love.
Perhaps you could offer up all those feelings and sufferings that come with a terrible breakup. Just an idea…
Please feel free to pm me if you want.
Many blessings to you.
I’ll most definetly pray for you.
Dearly Beloved kalerumi,
I am praying for you. May you be blessed with a day where the bridegroom will hold you as his bride. And may your days be filled with Love.
Praying for you. I remember when my heart felt this way too and I thought it would never heal. I did over time. Give it some time to heal. Stay close to the one who became my Best Friend, Jesus, and who got me throught it, Jesus. I hope that helps you. I will pray for you, friend.
Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name.
Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it as it is in heaven.
Give us this day, our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive
those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but
deliver us from evil.
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,and
blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and
at the hour of our death.
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit,
as it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be world without end.
