Please pray for my family and friend

I was wondering if any of you would please pray for my family and a dear friend of mine.

My mom is Catholic but is currently refusing to believe certain Church teachings (confession, mass obligation, etc.). She doens’t understand that these teachings aren’t optional and that if you don’t believe then then you aren’t really following the Catholic faith, you’re kind of making it into what you feel and want. She’s lost right now with these things and I can’t get her back on my own. I’ve tried, but I just can’t. Will you please pray for her?

My dad is a Baptist who after moving didn’t go to church for about 30 years. He recently started going to a local church and praying more and studying the Bible. Well, recently I learned of the extreme importance of the sacraments in entering Heaven. I know God’s mercy is infinite and that love is also vital in entering His Kingdom, but I’m now worried that my dad, along with other non-catholic Christians, will be relying on love and will be in greater need of mercy. Will you please pray for them?

Could you also pray for my friend Nicholas? He and I have been great friends for a long time and we are now discerning dating. We’re having a talk about it tonight, discussing faith, the purpose of dating, etc… Also, please, as this is a prayer request, do not use this to attack what I say or tell me I’m being foolish or anything. But, I am a Catholic and he is not. He is Christian though. Our talk is centered on this and why we are considering dating. Our talk is to lay out what we believe and truly determine whether we should or should not date. I ask that you pray for us that we may benefit from this conversation and further discern this.

I thank you in advance for any and all prayers. Even if you just pray for a few seconds, it will help.
