Please pray for us. My husband lost weight, and, as a result, he may be forced to leave the Army. It is a long story on why…but he has done nothing wrong. His command is doing everything they can to help.
He is the sole provider for the family. We both have degrees, but it’s not a good time for either of our industries because of the economy. He loves the Army and wants to make it a career in the medical field.
Please pray that he will not be discharged. But, most of all, pray that we will have peace with whatever comes and that we will rest, knowing that we rest in His merciful Heart.
Thank you, friends.
Gracious Lord, You alone know all the details of this situation. You have always provided for us in the past, and I know that You are in control of the future. Please hear us in our prayer now, as our human eyes don’t see many options here. We ask for wisdom for us and for his command. And we ask for peace in our hearts, the certainty of knowing that You order our lives according to Your will. Amen.
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thine intercession was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my mother; to thee do I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me.
