Please pray for my husband to find a new job

#1

My husband has been at his current job for two years now. It now seems very likely that he will be out of work again possibly as soon as August. In twenty years of marriage we have been through this four times. He is under alot of stress at his current job too and I am concerned about his health. Thank you so much!

Dear Lord, I ask that you help Donna’s husband to place all his confidence (trust) in Your Sacred Heart. You reign and are in control; You hold the entire world in your hand; You order all things so that the greatest number of souls can be saved. Donna’s husband has a part in all of Your plan. Help him to see his life through eyes trusting in Your providence. (You are ordering all things especially for him and his brothers and sisters in all humanity.) Help him get an even better job if he loses this one and give him the perseverence to withstand the pressure of not knowing what the future exactly holds for him. May he know, at least, that the future definitely holds for him a special place in heaven with You, if he only perseveres and places all his confidence in Your mercy; abandoned to Your mercy, like a trusting child in his loving father’s arms. Amen.

Lord have mercy, and grant this couple health, peace, and security.

Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name
Thy kingdom come.
Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven
Give us this day our daily bread.
Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us,
And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. Amen

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit
As it was in the begining, is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen

Thanks for your prayers. By the way, my husband’ name is Dan. At the same time this is going on we have our 16 year old son and his anxiety problems and trying to figure out the best way to handle it and some other family health problems as well. God bless you and thanks again!

You are in my prayers

Novena Prayer to
St. Anthony of Padua

O Holy St. Anthony, gentlest of Saints,
your love for God, and Charity for his creatures,
made you worthy, when on earth, to possess
miraculous powers. Miracles waited on your
word, which you were ever ready to speak
for those in trouble or anxiety. Encouraged by
this thought, I implore for you to obtain for me,
[for those who are stressed cure for all ills]
The answer to my prayers may require a miracle.
Ever so, you are the Saint of Miracles. O gentle
and loving St. Anthony, whose heart was ever full
of human sympathy, whisper my petitions into
the ears of thy Sweet Infant Jesus, who loved
to be folded in your arms, and the gratitude
of my heart will ever be yours
Amen.
